BLS- CPR Instructor Course with Free Instructor Book

Take our American Heart Association CPR Instructor Course.

To become an instructor there are a few things you need prior to taking this course.

1. You must have a current CPR Card.

2. You must be familiar with the American Heart Associations’ course content prior to the instructor course. (The Instructor Course instructs on AHA policy, procedures and how to facilitate your courses)

3. Ideally the AHA prefers Health care providers to instruct CPR, however if you are not a health care provider it does not exempt you. Just email Derek Johnston at info@safetyhs.com to get pre approval.

4. Take the Core Instructor Course: This will be taught the same day of your instructor course. Normally this is an extra $35, but we do this part for free.

5. Once you have completed the instructor course you have 90 days to be monitored instructing your first course. To instruct your first course you will need your own equipment. We can assist you in getting your equipment, books etc in an economical way.

6. You MUST attend one of the dates specifically scheduled as an “Instructor check off class” These dates will be listed above in the cart.

7. Taking the instructor course does not guarantee you will become an instructor; you have to meet all American Heart Association and SHS Training Site guidelines. Once you become an instructor we are here to help you facilitate your courses. There are no training center fees. We want you to be successful!
