Take the first part of this course online at home at your own pace.  Normal completion time runs about 45 minutes to 1 hour.  This online course takes the place of the "lecture" and written test.  You also have access to this course for 1 year after completion to review the material.  This takes the place of your book.  We have received wonderful reviews about this course and best of all you dont have to sit in class all day :)

The skills session/test time depends on the student.  If you have taken this course multiple times and you are comfortable with the material all you have to do is test and your out the door with your card in hand in as little as 15 minutes.  If you would like to review or practice we allow for proper time to do this as well.  Our main goal is that you are comfortable with the material before you leave.

In this program, students complete the cognitive portion (Part 1) of BLS for Healthcare Providers training through a series of self-paced online modules. Students answer short multiple-choice questions within case-based scenarios, and receive feedback based on their answers, to proceed through 10 critical checkpoints. This course provides access to 21 optional review sections, including 17 videos from the BLS for Healthcare Providers video, which reinforce the adult, child and infant CPR sequences taught in the course.

This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. Part 1 can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours; time to complete a practice and testing session (Parts 2 and 3 - Skills testing and practice is less than hour.
