American Heart Association PALS Initial or Renewal Course with Skills Practice.   After your order you will be mailed your American Heart Association PALS CD based Course.  You can complete this course at home in your own time and print out your completion certificate. This online course takes the place of your book.  You will have all materials available online to you.

HeartCode PALS Part 1 is a self-directed, interactive, CD-based product intended for healthcare professionals who require a PALS Provider course completion card, as well as nurses and emergency medical services personnel seeking continuing education credit.

Using eSimulation technology, the program presents 12 realistic, hospital-based, pediatric patient cases that teach healthcare providers to evaluate and manage seriously ill infants and children. Students interact with the program to assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan -- based on the PALS algorithm and American Heart Association's Guidelines for CPR and ECC -- and provide treatment in a virtual setting.

HeartCode PALS Part 1 is approved for Continuing Education Credit for nurses and emergency medical services personnel, and is approved for Continuing Medical Education Credit for physicians and physician assistants.

Students have access to the course for one year from initial license activation, allowing them to refresh their skills. This CD-based eLearning program provides the cognitive portion (Part 1) of the PALS course.
